Ambidexterity as a result of boredom
You know a lecture is quite boring when you end up spending the time practising writing your name with your left hand in case something should ever happen to your right hand.
You know it is extremely boring when the trend spreads and a whole row of students can been seen doing the same thing.....
Ah, two weeks of holidays awaits (only interrupted by soap....)

What I'd like to know is what imagined foul fate should befall your hand such that you'd need to learn how to use your left? Was the lecture boring enough for you to go that far? ;)
Well, there is skiers thumb (bound to happen if I go skiing in Australia: me + plam tree = no good), broken wrist as a result of all the stumbling and falling I do on a average day, getting a VERY big diamond ring to wear on my right hand..... The options are endless.
